Fully restored

It was my dads, he bought it used in 84, the owners daughter had it
customized and added a sun roof and cab lights with a 3 inch body lift on 33x12.5x15 and I guess she didn’t like it and my dad ended up with it and I’m glad he did. Then in the 96 it had some problems with the axle and the driveshaft was leaking so he stopped driving it and parked it under some trees and there it sat for 11 years. I always loved that truck and one day I decided to go out and just tinker with it. Had no idea what I was doing so my dad came out and started helping me then after changing the gas tank, fuel pump and breaking the motor loose it fired right up and it still ran perfectly haven’t had one problem with it. We worked on it for 4 years and got it to where it could be driven every day then in 2011 my dad passed away and I promised him I would finish well 7 years later I finally got her finished, a week before my wedding and we used the truck in the wedding to symbolized my my dad and family that couldn’t be there so in theory. She was a lot of work but it was worth it.

Just 1 of the touches, you can see some in the other pictures above. (dual tanks, floating bumpers and front has driving / fog lights in it)

Metal ribbed bed floor replacing the factory wood

How it all started
