lets play a game...
i have attempted to troubleshoot this weird sound at least a half dozen times but im nowhere near knowledgable enough to do it alone... all i can offer is a list of symptoms...
- in the cab it sounds like a droning or whining
- driving next to a median or building it sounds like im holding an empty coffee can to the ground...
- only happends when my foot is on the gas
-only happeneds in gear(if i shift into N and rev the engine it dosnt make the sound)
- happends in all gears
-truck has a horrible vibration or wobble in the front end around 115km/h though i believe that to be possobly u-joints as it continued after a balance and alignment... but JIC i thought i would include it....

all fluids have been topped up to appropriate levels and or changed.
from here on i am completely clueless... any and all suggestions will be and already are greatly appriciated. thanks alot...

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR TRUCK!!! FIX YOUR REAR AXLE FIRST!!
But if you must.
Do the front end wobble and sound go together, happen at the same time? If not I doubt they are related.
Your truck is 4wd, I would start by making sure that the 4wd is disengaged, you should be able to turn the front driveline by hand.
Next I'd check for wheel play, I know your rear axle is F'd but it is unlikely to make a noise that is touque sensative unless messed up in another way to. But grab the top of your front tires and try and shake them in and out with all your weight. If you have a front wheel bearing problem this will usually show some play.
FIX YOUR REAR AXLE, this should be a start on the noise.
