ther is a ground wire that was bolted to the drivers side plenum on my truck, where does it go to i took the engine out a week ago and didn't take pictures. I am almost ready to start it up so your help is really needed
it was bolted to the top middle of the plenum, its about 8 inches long and about 3/8 inch diameter with the insulation. if anyone can go out to thier truck and take a quick peek itll help me be on the road sooner. if youve been following me its been quite an adventure to get to this point.
You're talking top middle of the intake plenum mounted to the inboard side of the drivers head? I'll go look, just want to make sure I'm looking in the right spot.
Sounds to me like the ground wire for the AIH. If indeed that's what it is, you should either hook it up properly or remove it completely. VERY BEST thing you can do: get us a picture so there's no doubt.

That was my first thought too Brendan, but when he said intake plenum on the DRIVER'S side, it kind of threw me. I would think of the AIH as being center, not drivers side.
maybe i installed it on the wrong side? but its a pretty big wire is ther a ground wire hooked up to your plenums? if so what side is it on and where do i hook it too? to the other side of one of my solenoids?
