05 to 04 wheels

Can you put 05 wheels on an 04 or do you need spacers?

? Anybody? I know I needed spacers to fit 05's on my 03 but I'm not sure what year they changed it.

99-04 same, 05-09 same

the change was between 04 and 05, when they changed the front bumper and went to front coils

Also remember that the 04 and earlier had stock 16" rims and the 05 and newer had 17" rims because of the larger break system. I don't think you can put a 16" rim on a 05 with out major modifications.

I thought there was 2 versions of the 04: the Heritage and New Style. AFAIK the Heritage had the 5 bolt pattern compatible back to the 97's while the New Style has the 6 bolt compatible at least through 08. I'm not mentioning the 7 or 8 bolts as that's another kettle of fish.
