Need some brake help

I am working on rebuilding the brake drum on a 53 f250. I can for the life of me get the brake drums off.. I was told that I should use some heat ,but I dont have a torch here. anyone else have some good ideas. These have been on there for decades.

You have to be sure to back off the adjuster spanner completely to allow the shoes to pull in past the ridge they have probably dug in the drums.
