Junk Headlight

Anyone around here have a junk headlight out of a 2004-2008 F-150? And by junk i mean the lens can be cracked, i just need the good rear section...i'm playing around with retrofitting a projector lens into a headlight assembly, but don't want to do it to my current ones until i perfect it....I'll pay for shipping if anyones got one....

I don't have one but I'll be if you check your local salvage yard you will find them all over the place. Bet they'd even give them to you to get rid of them.

Just a thought

The local salvage yards around here don't have any F-150's.....the place that does is a "can't pick your own" place that wouldn't give you a screw without charging you 20 bucks....I guess its a testament to how durable these trucks are that they're hard to find around here...

I don't know what your time-frame looks like Ryan, but I'm trying to retrofit my aftermarket projectors- but thats contingent on available funds for my Xenon, LED and other parts. So possibly 3-4mos?

If you can wait a while I'll give you my slightly modified OEMs.

Salvage yards don't have them....
That's because there's no such thing as a junk F150!

I forgot to mention the "slightly modified" part... which is about a 1/2" hole about a few inches back from inside the lens, in the reflective housing ring for the headlamp.

This is true down here in SC... Everyone that has a "salvaged/wrecked" '04-'08 F-150 on thier lot is Usually selling the truck as a whole for those that want to recover it.
