T18 Trans
I am looking to buy a T18 Transmission. I want one out of a Ford that had the 6.32 1st gear ratio. I am looking at one on craigslist and i have an ID number off it. It is either a T18 or T19. Can anyone help me? Here is the ID # (EOT3-AA). Also if anyone has a T18 for sale let me know! Thanks Ryan

I don't have any casting numbers to verify, but the T-18 has the 6.32 1st gear.
The T-19 has a 5.11 1st gear, which is synchronized. Otherwise, it's identical.

I understand they did make a T19 (full synchro) with a 6.32 1st gear ratio, but they are few and far between. I don't think you can tell from the case casting # either. All T19's have a casting # 1309 and there is an A, B, & C series if I remember correctly. Some of these tranny guy's will probably chime in and give some better info on identifying the correct tranny.
