You should have both batteries tested - make sure they test them with the OTHER battery disconnected. You will prob find that BOTH batteries were bad.... I know $ is tight, but we are tossing $ out the window by only replacing one!

+1 on bud

Get cheap batteries if you have to. Its going to save your rather than having to replace the alternator again.

Replace both of them and then test your alternator to see if you need to replace. You might look in to a dual alternator set up with all that audio equipment you're running, but if moneys tight that wouldn't be real high on my list. Just get a high amp one. You can rebuild your current alternator to save some cash. Just look for a shop in your area.

Okay stopted at O'Reilys had them check batterys said they where good had them check the alternator it was 13.5 volts and 46 amps he said it was good but a little week so I replace the second battery, while taken it out I realized it as a 750 cranking amp battery and the one he sold me last week was 650 so I ask him I want a 750 and he said sure So they took back the one from last week and I got 2 new batterys I hope this works and the light that only came on a few times last week goes away.

If the battery light is still coming on even with new batteries you have a charging problem.

the light reads the voltage only. so you get 13.9v when running and 12.5v when not running. That is what they are supposed to be. dose the light only come on when its not running. If so dont worry about it. The light is for when its running.
