Trying something and need help
I was wondering if anyone knows the pin outs for the 16 pin rear entertainment controller, the one with volume, mode, memory and headphone jacks, etc.
Also do you know the pin outs for the 12 pin 6 disc cd changer that goes in the center console.
And while I am asking, the 16 pin connector at the back of my radio. There are two pins I cannot figure out and the one diagram I saw said Do Not Use on these two wires.
I have an 04 F250 SuperDuty with the indash 6 disc dc with the 20+16 pin connectors. My radio does not have an aux input but throws the three codes: U2003 CDDJ, U2008 Phone and U2005 RICP.
I would like to replace the cd changer in the center console with an aux input but keep the rear entertainment controller. I got the parts from the auto wreckers and cut out as much wiring harness from the donnor Excursion as I could.
Can anyone help me with my project? Thanks.

those codes mean you can purchase an adapter from, I think it's Pie adapters or something, it's been awhile since I bought mine... just looked it up, pie precision interface electronics, and run an audio input. You could also control playlist changing with their ipod connector. It looks at the Ipod as a large disc changer. I just use the RCA inputs and call it good. I believe you would still have complete control of the existing equipment.
It works perfectly and cheaply. You won't be sorry.
