Engine Issues
I have recently joined and also recently purchased a 1988 f150 2wd with a 302 and 5spd, 165,000 miles. After 1st oil change, oil pressure would not come back to previous, I changed filter again ( I always add Lucas) and also added rislone for compression because I also developed a light knock bottom end, pressure has stayed up but still have knock, I believe it is the bearings, however performance and mileage have remained good. Does anyone have any ideas or how long I can go before the she stops. Thanks

It's any ones guess really... It all depends on why your getting the knock and the damage you have inside the engine. You could last 2 weeks or it could be 2 years. If it were me... I would pull it and fix it... At least you'd know what was going on inside the engine then and wouldn't feel like you might get stranded any where you drive in the truck! Just my opinion though...
