Very interesting. SOUNDS promising, remains to be seen. I think one of the biggest hurdles will be plain old resistance to change.
Does sound interesting, but I think the biggest hurdle will be the BTU rating about half that of good ole #2. That means tanks twice as large and MPG's about half of what they are now. If the cost per gallon is less than half of diesel fuel, there is some possibility of success, but for the OTR guys, the bigger tanks / lower mpg's might be an issue.
I had to go back and re-read after F350-6's comment. At first I thought same performance to mean same energy, but alas, it does take twice as much (by volume???) to get that same performance. I agree, it's gonna have to be pretty cheap.
