Nothing planned right now - if you want to get something going go for it.

 

How about another meet at that Mexican restaurant in Orange County?

I believe we had our largest contingent of members at this GTG.

Everyone...it seemed had a good time, but there's always an exception.

One member, who never meet a meal he didn't like, and who shall remain nameless, later complained about everything...except the food.

 

Now that's not a bad idea Bill! It seems to be somewhat centrally located, they have a reasonably large parking lot and most folks enjoy chips, salsa and such. I even showed up at that GTG.....

 

Yeah, I remember seeing you and you are not the member that never meet a meal he didn't like.

This member is known far and wide (pun intended!) as the "Walking Atlas."

I never met a meal I didn't like, either...but (believe it...or not), I didn't complain about anything.

 

I know, Colt and I only hung out for some chips and salsa and then left.

Thinking back to that GTG, even Big Jim and Flashy showed up!

 

Well there were some pics of that meet in this thread, but unfortunately they've been taken down. There are some other names from the past you might recognize. Such is the nature of an internet forum - people come, people go.

As I said earlier if someone wants to take the bull by the horns and make this happen, by all means go ahead. My weekend availability from here until the end of the year will be subject to change. I'd love to go if it works out, but I'm not going to personally schedule a meet that I'm not certain I can attend.

 

i'll try to piece a plan together for an up coming weekend. im down fo rthat mexican restaurant, that was my first meet and the biggest i went too. or the january meet at in n out might of been bigger, hard to tell. obviously it wont happen this weekend cause thats not enough time to let people know and im going to be gone for halloween weeked seeing how its my bday. so if i had to guess a time, i'll be looking at the first week in november. tentively.

 

what "mexican resaurant" in Orange County are we talkin about? I can throw a rock and hit 50 from where I am sitting - hahaha

I would like to make a meet one of these days and Orange County is close enough to home that I might even get off my butt and go

Looks like i'll be at the Pomona swap meet - hocking parts off this 79 Lariat I snagged. Might be able to be done and wrapped up if we keep it late though

 

Thie 18th won't work for me, cuz the Basset Hound Picnic is being held (at Arcadia Park) the same day.

 

i most likely wont be able to get to any meets till after the new year. im pretty busy with school. next semester will most likely be a little more relaxed for me. sorry boys!
