transfer case oil

what oil goes in the transfer case

Use a good synthetic of your choice. Check to see how much metal comes out with the fluid. Give the truck a good run before you change it. If you see metal change the fluid again after a few months.

no metal that i could find the fluid was black as night but smelled like tranny oil so i thought i would ask. Do i have to split the case to change the yoke bearing and input beaing on these t cases

I would think so. I can't see any other way to change the bearings. But I have no personal experience.

If some one could do me a huge favor and test the connector to map sensor and let me know what they get i have two 5v in one ground when the trucks off the ground is solid but when the truck is running the ground pulses. I am just trying to chase down a map sensor /power problem when its plugged in. It would be much appreciated.
