swaybar questions

While browsing my local craigslist ads this morning i stumbled on an ad for 03 sway bar for sale. i know there have been issues getting the right bushings for the e99 trucks so i thought maybe the upgrade would be a wise investment.

Would a sway bar off a 03 4x4 work on my e99 2wd???

4x4 and 4x2 won't mix I'm guessing. Getting the bushings is no big deal, but figuring out what bushings you need to get is the trick. My 10/98 early 99 has the larger sway bar but still the early style end links... or at least it did. As soon as I find a pair of late model end link mounts I'll be all late model.
