Power Windows

My truck has no windows yet. Thinking about putting in power windows. Has anybody done it? If so are you happy with them. I'm thinking of using Specialty Power Windows. Anybody use them? Any tips would be appreciated.

I have done it but not with Specialty Power Windows. I took a cheaper route and they worked fine. Good luck with yours.

got them in my 56. installation is easy. haven't used them yet. still wiring rest of dash and haven't installed battery

I did power windows in my 55 using some off name brand. like them a lot.

I have PW in my 56. See my Making Changes gallery for the install. I'd suggest looking at the mechanism offered by EZ Wire. A good unit, easy to install, and they are not "proud" ($$$$) of what they sell like most others. Good people to work with as well. I'd also recommend avoiding any units that use a cable and pulley drive or motorizes the stock mechanical mechanism.
