More strange ford fun...

Drove the 96 XLT about 600 miles this weekend on the last start up to come home the ABS and BRAKE lights staied on the speed-o was dead the shifter OD off light was blinking and the blinkers did not work...We made it the 3 miles home. Shut it off i checked a bunch of stuff and found nothing started it back up and all was fine.....and working

Anyone got any ideas? It this a precurser to something failing?

Thanks

Sounds just like what i went through when my Vehicle Speed Sensor started to fail. Same symptoms and not always acting up. After two days of dealing with it i went ahead and replaced the VSS. Easy fix.

Thanks! is the VSS in the rear or the trans? I know it in the rear on my 89 f250.
