It's been awhile since I posted anything, I have been busy at it since this past March. frame repair, 30 gallon fuel tank from a UPS truck, door hinges
new rearend 3:73's, rebuilt the leaf springs, new rockers and lower hinge pillars, inner and outer lower door skins, new door glass, weather striping and window regulators. I will get to cleaning up my gallery and adding the pictures. below are three pictures of the truck, first is as purchased in April 2007, the next is shortly after that with a better set of wheels. and the last picture is the current state with torque thrust II's that I textured and sprayed light gray centers for that vintage look. I just purchased another grill off Ebay that I will be painting the same gray as the wheels, then when I switch back to the painted smoothies I can switch back to the cream grill. full size pictures of below are in the gallery, ( another set of wheels ).
oh - come to think I'll need to get extra turn signal trim and paint them too. always something
I do want to install skirting at some point. I have been working my way around, from top to bottom. I think one of the first things I did was to attach the handle back on the cowl vent so it could be opened and closed. Matter of fact I bought it from you if I remember correctly. I have alot of things to finish on the top and middle So it may be awhile before I get to the bottom and the skirts.
