Hey guys! So lately Ive gone through 3 different glow plug relays from NAPA, I thought I was getting bad ones or something. Whenever one of the relays goes out I can just jump across the terminals to get it started. Put a new one in and im good to go. Well now once again I have no glow plugs and Im not even able to jump across the terminals, there doesnt seem to be any power there at all. Anyone familiar with a situation like this? Seems wierd to me.. Thanks for any help!
Ok I do have power to the hot side of the solenoid that comes from the battery, for some reason my screwdriver wasnt wanting to jump across.
However the solenoid is shot again, no power to the other side when key is on, whats causing me to keep losing these solenoids? or is it just the NAPA junk, this will be my 4th one in a year.
Also, when the key is on should both the little posts on the solenoid be hot? With a test light they both have power when key on.
