It's out of stock a lot at wallyworld. I would go to the automotive section manager and ask them to order it and stock it for you. Take an old oil jug with you if you can so they can scan the bar code.
same problem here with wally world not keeping enough motorcraft oil in stock. I asked them to stock more, but they say that a rep comes and desides how much they get... they have no control over it. I don't know if they were blowing smoke though...
Where I live in southeastern Pa. you can buy all the Motorcraft 15W-40 you care to purchase, problem is when it gets cold I would rather use 10W-30 which only comes in 1 qt. bottles and that's hard to find.

And I would recommend 5W-40 when cold so you get optimum start-up performance and protection and yet maintain the 40 weight viscosity your motor needs... as they all shear oil viscosity down... so it is better to start with a 40 weight oil instead of a 30 weight oil (IMO).
had to go to two wally's to get the oil I needed. One had three gallons.. the other had one gallon. by the time I got all the oil and filter, it was almost $65. The dealer changes it for $75. I do think the dealer will be changing mine from now on.

LOL... Then I over filled my crank case. DUH! I need to learn to read. Guess I wasted plenty of money. Thanks for responding before I drove the truck and did some damage. Oh wait.. don't tell anyone.. Makes me look real stooopid
On the pass side of the engine, there is a yellow handle, on the end of it you will find a cable attached to it, its known as a dip stick!! Why in the world would you not start the truck for 10 seconds, shut it off for a couple mins and verify the oil level was correct LOL

call me crazy.. but I put in what I thought was 15 quarts.. obviously wrong. And I did check the dipstick... hard to read on this thing. And all the talk about inaccurate dipstick markings led me to believe I had one that was off. Next oil change, I will put in 3 jugs... and call it good. 15 quarts is 15 quarts. At the next oil change, I will check the dipstick afterwards just to know where full is on my truck. Then I feel there is no need to check the dipstick on changes. I check the oil jugs to make sure they are the same full level before I crack them open.... I have had one or two that have been low before, so I am kind of **** about that...

My dip stick is on the drivers side of the engine. The passenger side has the transmission dip stick.
You are correct, I just serviced my trans yesterday and had that on my mind.
Chris- Im just givng you a hard time, I have done PLENTY of silly stuff....just wait and Im sure I will do more LOL
Oh sure.. kick a guy when he is down lol. when we never make another mistake... we are DEAD. All is good. Got the oil out no problem and not to big of a mess.
