They never have enough rotella synthetic in stock. The first store I went to had a big hole on the shelf. The second store had two bottles on the shelf. This kills the whole idea of changing the oil this weekend. Now I have to wait until my Amsoil order comes in this week. Anyone else have this problem with there local Walmarts?
My local Wal Mart has been selling Synthetic Rotella for $11/gallon for the last 6 months. I stopped by on the way home today, and they no longer have a place on the shelf for the Synthetic. I asked the guy back there and he said they were no longer going to carry it. I asked if that was for all Wally Worlds, or just this store. He didn't know anything beyond his store.
Sometimes yes, its a bummer for sure. Trying to find my Mobil One synthetic I needed for my powersteering flush was like pulling teeth. Chris, thats crazy, they sell the synthetic like crazy, they sure do here. Prolly going back to Schaeffers anyways.
Well my advice stinks because I am getting ready to put Schaeffers full synthetic in mine for the winter. Been running Delo that I got from wally though.
hey you might want to rethink your AMSOIL experience, i decided, being that I live in Duluth, MN the birthplace of AMSOIL, where there isnt hardly a car that goes by without an AMSOIL sticker on it, I though good support the local buisiness and put AMSOIL in my truck and my grand am. Well i have had nothing but issues since I did so. my grand am started leaking oil from sensors and gaskets so i fixed what was broke and changed it back to Castrol. My f-350 on the other hand didntfare so well. I have no clue what happened o it but i am currently in process of replacing the long block due to low oil pressures and severe smoking. i probably could have changedthe oil and saw if it was a viscosity issue but IMHO I knew that the AMSOIL probably had a catastophic viscosity breakdown and caused major internal wear so anyhow i might rethink using AMSOIL, i am now going to run Delovac for the first oil change then go back to my Tection.
Yea it sucks but where else can you buy a shotgun and some steaks in one place?
That is the one thing that is great about Wally World, although the ones in our metro area don't sell guns anymore. I would have to go to BFE to buy a gun at Wall-mart.
I will never have to worry about going into Wal-Mart sense I got kicked out of there..
Damn those people there have no sense of humor at all..
My wife wanted me to try on some clothes there and out of protest I went and sat in the changing room for a while..
She yells at me and say are you done trying those on..
I yelled back ..(There is no toilet paper in here) 1/2 the people that heard me busted out laughing and the management escorted me right out of the place.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA thas great!
No comment on the topic, we buy in bulk for the dump trucks and always have atleast 110 gallons on hand at any given time
I went in early one Sunday am for my Rotella, wife called and wanted me to also change hers. I wasn't sure of the specs for her oil so I HAD TO ASK..........
Only three ladies there, one had a Service Dept Manager name badge on so I asked her... can you tell me what the oil specs are on a '96 Olds Culass V6 ? she replied just use ANY 10-30 unless it leaks, then you should use a 10-40....(good thing I already had my Rotella in the cart).
