First Super Duty
Just brought myself my first super duty.....
2003 F250 7.3 Super Cab, Auto 4x4
Just wondering if there is anything in particular I should look out for in the line of known problems........
cheers
Harb
Fancy finding you over here.
Congrats on the Superduty purchase too.
As mentioned, between this section and the 7.3 diesel section you should be able to find a lot of info.
Here's some other links too:-

For those that don't know, Harb is a regular on our 4wd action forum and has a wealth of knowledge in various motorsports and fabrication work. I'm guessing this truck will be a toy hauler, but if he starts tinkering with it, look out!

ps. I've got a pair of knuckle seals for your model (doesn't fit mine). If you ever replace ball joints or axle shafts you'll need them.
and thanks for the wrap there Dave

I recon you are pretty right with regards to the toy hauler bit hahaha
But I did tell the Mrs that it was going to be a tourer so I could get the finances across the line
, so I guess it will get to see a bit of Australia first before the gas axe comes out hahahaI am lucky that it had a heap of good stuff done to it already, so I am just adding my bits now..... nothing to radical.........for a few months anyway, then I will hook in and start the mods process.
Will get some pictures up as soon as I can....... I must say, out of all my trucks, I am really enjoying this one at the moment......... I just love turning that Key

Be sure to call by in your travels. You're welcome here any time.

Just the right combination of lift and tyre size. Looks the way it should.
Making me doubt my choice of 35" tyres now?? I'm leaving room for 37" and I'm thinking I should have got that size to start with. Oh well, next set........

Us Aussies do a lot of high speed dirt road when outback touring. It's nothing to be going over 4" deep corrugations at 100kmh or more. Harbs set up is about right for just that. Not huge amounts of lift just for the sake of it.
I must say I got physically aroused reading your specs. You have BIG $$$ in that rig and it sounds like you put it into performance instead of bling which I really respect. That is no hangar queen. THAT is a SUPERDUTY.
Congrats.
