power door lock question

On m new truck the power door locks dont work, switched out both drivers and passenger switchs as well as the fuse in the fuse box with the ones from my other truck. Still nothing. The switches and fuse from the non working truck work in the other and vice/versa. What else would cause my door locks to fail?

If all wiring is good, meaning that power is getting to all points, your actuators could be defective. They are located in the lower cornor of the doors and if you open the door and look in the door jam bottom you will see a large pop rivet that holds the mounting bracket for the actuator(s).

I would check to see that power is getting to the plug(s) on the actuators. It is a little unusual for both to go at the same time but since you bought the truck used you do not know the past history of this problem. Hope this helps you pin point the problem.
