98 ranger with clutch problems
Hello all, i have read many post regarding clutch problems and i have a question(s) with my 98 ranger i have had several problems with my clutch for a couple of months first while stopped at a light the petal lost pressure and then after pumping it than engaged now over the weekend it will not gain pressure at all it has a loose petal, i tried bleeding through the bleeder on the slave and also bleed the master that member Hank recommended through the cab of the truck and still no luck. Would this possibly be the master or the slave? I had a ford mechanic tell me to disconnect the line at the slave and pump lightly on the petal and if the petal becomes stiff it would be the slave. so i guess it would be the master since i pumped it 20 times and no change.
