I've got an 05 F250 Diesel and I'm getting a drip pretty much every time I park. The wet spot is appearing just inside of the front passenger tire. I've looked at the fluid and it seems to be water..no distinct color, odor or texture.
Is this just condensation off of the AC compressor? or could it possibly be something else?
The motor is about to go off warranty, so its heading to the shop tomorrow for turbo fart... I don't know whether to throw this on the list or not.
Could be the AC condensation. That's right about where it drips. But since you've got the PSD, it is also right where a common coolant leak occurs. It's caused by a leaking EGR cooler connecting hose, and it drips down the back of the motor on the passenger side. But that's most likely to leak after sitting overnight, not necessarily after running. So hopefully it's just the AC.
You should be able to crawl under there and look for evidence of coolant running down the block. Or just ask the service department to check on that hose for you. There is a newer updated hose. It's literally only about 2" long.
