Which clutch?
Need to replace my clutch in my 96 2.3L Ranger. It's 2 wheel drive. The parts store lists a self-adjusting clutch for 250 and a diaphagm clutch for 180.
Which clutch do I use. I am trying to do this cheap. I don't plan on having the truck to much longer. I thought that all the clutches for the ranger were self adjusting. Also where do I get the Clutch line release tool. I am going to replace everything once it is apart. I lost the throw out bearing. It is squealing when I shift. Thanks for your help.

My 1999 Service Manual lists only one clutch for the 2.5, 3.0, and 4.0.
Take it apart and take the used one down to the auto parts store, preferably the one with the Motorcraft brand, and get a correct replacement part.
