howdy yall
hey, the name is Russell. im 17 and live in nc. i have a 1977 f-150 that i am in the process of putting togeather to be my trail/mud truck/play toy. it came with a 351 modified origonally which has been bored 60 over and i believe has a 400m crank in it. i am about to send the block and crank back to the machine shop to have the block honed, magnafluxed, center line bored and in general just cleaned up a little bit, and have the crank turned. the truck has the origonal new process 4 speed with granny low. it has a dana 44 front and a ford 9in. rear both with the origonal 3.50 ratio ring and pinion gears. it came from the factory with 2 fuel tanks, one behind the seat and one mounted under the bed. i plan to lift the truck about 6in. and put 35in. or 37 in. tires on it. of corse with the bigger tires will eventually come bigger gears. but thats my play toy, nice to be a part of the board. cool place.
