Fuel Pump Upgrade??????????
anyone know how to upgrade the fuel pump? can i just use an msd booster pump with the stock fuel pump and be alright or do i need to replace the stock fuel pump with a dummy hose and run an external electric pump like a holley black pump or equivilent (i don't like the holley style pumps) this is for a carbed application, i have the stock fuel system with a braided -6an line coming off the fuel filter to a bypass fuel pressure regulator then to my carb and a -6an return line off the regulator back to the gas tank
i really like the aeromotive fuel pumps and i'm thinking about finding one and running it external to the tank but i don't know if i can pull fuel through my stock intank fuel pump or not

I don't think it will support 500+ hp, it's only marginally larger than the small block pumps which are around 80gph. There are a few guys around here that are sucessfully running the booster pumps on supercharged motors.. I believe Blurry94 is one.. maybe one of these guys will comment.
