I still like to watch Red Dawn and Road House once in a while. He was a decent actor, an excellent dancer, and seemed like a decent guy. He was married to his wife for 34 years which is basically unheard of in Hollywood.
Yup. Red Dawn. Classic. Got it in my library. The Outsiders was decent. Two of his early stuff. Damn. Almost forgot. Uncommon Valor. 1983 and 1984 were good years for the Swayze......
I usually don't give a flip when most actors go, but I grew up watching and loving his movies (yes, even the "B-rated" ones). Its sad to think I'll never see another new one.
Being from Northern Ontario, Canada....the movie Youngblood was one of my favorite Hockey movies as a kid. Right up there with Slap Shot.
Oh no!!!!!! OUCH!!!!! Dang!!!!!! I hated hearing that he has passed. He was trying so hard, and I thought, doing so well. Dog gone it, I'm sad!!!!! Not only was he a great actor, and dancer.... we shared a state (NM), and a love of horses. His Arabians are GORGEOUS. He will be missed so very much.
