Alt squealing? replace?
Alt squealing when running,tried belt dressing just to make sure its not the belt. Still putting 14.5 on the meter. Original alt has 150k on it.Is this a sign to replace? Sorry about such a insignificant question....

Take the belt off and turn the pulley on the alt to see if the bearings feel bad. If the bearings are bad replace it before it locks up and leaves you stranded.
