Smog / inspection rules for Mo.?
Have a '91 F-150 2wd w/302 ( 5.0 ). Am considering adding headers. Does anybody know since it's exempt from smog inspection due to the age, if it would pass inspection? Want dual exhaust, know it's single now. If I put two cats on, would that be legal? Okay, am now more lost & confused than before. Looked at Hooker's on the computer. It says they are " Emissions Compatible " & then says NOT street legal. What gives? I thought if they had smog hookups on them they were street legal? Was trying to keep it legal ( don't want the $10,000 fine I read about on here ). Can somebody, anybody help here?
