well, im in the market for a new clutch, the one ive got has had enough. i got the truck about 2 yrs ago and it didnt slip at all. after i put a Edge Evo with around 200 ft tq/ 100 hp into my 2000 drw F350, it started to slip when i would pin it in 5th gear at a low speed. Then, after i put some 36" tires, it began to slip a little more.
But, what i have is a 2000 DRW with 36" tires, stock gearing, and a DP tuner with a 140 tune in the very near future. im looking for a clutch that can handle the power, fair price, and can be installed by a backyard mechanic. ive seen alot of the name South Bend and Centerforce but dont know anyone who has them, any and all knowledge would be greatfull!!
