My mirrors tilt down, but not up. And rotate left, but not right. Has anyone experienced and/or resolved this problem?

I have had this same problem, I took the switch out of the door and took it apart using a small screw driver to pry the plastic clips off of it, Inside is a thin piece of metal with "ears" that stick up for the control button or **** to push down and make contact. All i did to correct the problem was to slightly bend the contact points up to insure they get proper contact when you push the button to adjust mirrors. One thing to be careful with is there are little plastic pins that will fall out if your arent careful, that is what pushes the contact points to move the mirrors. If you have any more specific questions let me know but that is what i did to get mine working again. Hope it helps!

As soon as I get my truck back from having the oil-pan replaced (a mere $1,650), I'll take it apart and follow your instructions.
