I just cant make up my mind on what shocks to get for the front of my 99 F350 psd sort box with a rough country leveling kit, winch and fairly heavy steel bumper. I went to get some bistiens from Lordco today and the parts guy says I'm making a big mistake I should get the ranchos. Really? I've been reading up on this for a while. What do you guys think? Thanks for any input
I have run bilstiens, ranchos, and edelbrock shocks. My vote would be bilsteins. The ranchos are stock on the FX-4 trucks, but they are really not that great.

Looking at them, they would either sell you Tokiko or Rancho. I would tell you to forget Bilstein simply because I don't sell them, if I were them, that is.
I like my Bilsteins. I got one of the FUBARed. My CCV hose was spraying oil mist into that shock. It started leaking after a while. Bilstein warrantied them
