Look at these fuel injectors!!! **PICTURES**

I bought these from Precision Auto Injectors online because they said they were for my '89 F250 5.8 351W. When I got them they looked nothing like the stock ones with the big metal cylinder in the middle of them, but I put them in anyways thinking maybe they were new and improved. Well, ever since changing them the truck is hard starting after it sits a day or so like they are loosing pressure. Well, I went to there website a while ago and the second picture is what they are showing right for my truck. What the hell? Are these right or am I going crazy? All I know is my truck starts a lot harder now after putting them in.

What they sent me and what's in the truck!

What they are suppose to be!

The first set are called design 3 injectors and are what comes stock on newer vehicles, they have the same specs as the older injectors and are a suitable replacement. But it's common for these to get stuck open apparently and if that happens the cylinder with the offending injector will be flooded all the time and the system will not hold pressure.. both of which make the motor hard to start and hard on fuel.

I was hoping you would pop in Paul. I kinda figured these were the culprit. Should I insist on the other style or go with another brand entirely? What would you do? Thanks again.....

Get a hold of these guys and have them ship you a set of the older style injectors.

He already replied to my email to them and said he would do just that. He said he would send me the old style and a return envelope to put the new style in to ship back. Just sucks because it's a couple hours of work to reinstall them. Thanks Paul!
