Have any of youz used the Summit split duel catback exhaust system?
I found a kit for my 2003 super cab short bed fr $189.oo.
I'm on a budget so lookn to save as much as possible.
And on this kit it does'nt say anywhere about haveing to take out the spare..hope I dont...

I have had that same summit cat back system on my 97 for 6 years now. You do not have to take the spare tire out infact I have a 285/75/16 spare under mine. The tubing on mine is still good although I have had to weld a few hangers over the years. I ran the muffler it comes with for a year and then removed it and put a Y pipe in. Great system for the money in my opinion.
