E4OD tranny rebuild question...
So here I am with a 1993 F150 with the engine pulled out for repair. I see the tranny staring at me and I'm thinking what a nice opportunity to swap out the clutch packs. Well years ago it could be done (on the Dodge trannys anyway). Snug up the front band a bit so everything don't spill out when you pull the pump and just go for it. We would usually rebuild the tranny with the butt sitting on the floor or bench. But you "could" do it laying almost flat in the car without removing the tranny at all

So do you think this can be done with the E4OD still in the truck, engine removed of course and the front bellhousing lifted up as high as it will go? So of you might cringe at the thought but I'm not looking to do a total tear down, just a simple clutch pack swap with new seals of course. What do you think??
