Throttle body question

Can the rotted water inlet/outlet tubes be replaced? Are they just pressed in or what? Can they be pulled out or must you drill them out?

Never mind. I think I'll just cut them off flush and plug the holes. Why warm up the throttle body if you're going to run a cold-air inlet tube.

As I understand it that system is to prevent the throttle body from icing up in cold weather. So you may not need it anyway depending on exactly where you live.

Its to help the truck warm up in the winter time and keep it from icing up. I would leave it connected.

Also, dont waste your time with a CAI or FIPK, its just sucking hot air and not worth messing with. All they are good for is a cool sound, thats it. I had one and put the stock air box back on. It runs better now.
