Headlight bulb selection?
I went to the local auto store today and noticed a bunch of different brands and shades. I like the blue tinted ones to be honest. It should look good with the LED strip on the new headlights.
Can someone recommend a brand and part # for our trucks?
Or even better, does anyone have pics of their blue lights?
Thanks,
Jerry D

Get relay harness's and Hella 80/100 watt bulbs. The relay harness provides full battery power to the headlight - stock wiring allows up to a 2 volt drop!! They also include heavy duty plugs to handle the extra draw from the higher wattage bulbs. In 3 yrs and MANY miles at nite, I never once had someone brite-lite me thinking my high beams were on.
Unlike HID conversions, these bulbs maintain the optics the lens was designed for. Specifically, this means the cut-off line that prevents annoying oncoming drivers remains intact. It has been proven that most HID conversions actually hinder distance vision for this same reason. Those who have fallen into this trap are given the illusion of better lighting because up-close lighting is brighter.
Still want HID's? Buy some REAL HID driving lites for that big fat bumper you want!
Oh yeah, I only paid $1100 for my bumper! They want to much for the others...
