460 question

What are the cone shape thing on the air intake tubes? Can i cut them off it seemes that they would restrict air flow?

Silencers. Remove them if you want.

I think they are suppose to speed up the in coming air for torque purposes but i gained a little on both sides removing them not enough to fill but it did gain alittle. That will help you sling a little more of that mud. lol

They are for air inlet noise reduction and nothing else. If anything they restrict inlet air flow.
