That one is cool, but for a few more bucks you might be better off getting one that can use gas. That way you can run aluminum (gas required) if you want to. And as someone said above, welding steel with gas will make a nicer weld and you won't have the smoke like you will with a flux core wire.
Sorry, wasn't trying to be a know-it-all earlier, but welding is one of the few things I'm good at and certified in MIGs are great for body work and even frame jobs as long as the welder is rated for the thickness of metal you're doing. It's all MIG in the manufacturing process, anyway. MIGs are also a bit easier to learn on from what I've seen.
The link below is the one I have. I'm not saying at all that the HB stuff is as good as Lincoln, Miller, Hobart, etc., but it's worked for me. If it's a tool I don't use a whole lot or make my living with I'm willing to compromise on what I get if it does the job.
I like my old Lincoln stick machine and use it most of the time just because I can drag the leads out to the driveway and do what I need to do. If you get a MIG think about making an extension cord. I made a 25' cord with 10/3 cable so I can get a bit further with it. Even on a 110v MIG you'll need a really stout cord to support it if you go very far with it.
I know of one or two people that have had problems with buying a welder at harbor freight they went and got there money back. I picked up a lil lincoln welder up at home depot or lowes can't remember but they have some good ones there. I believe I only paid 200-300 bucks for it. Reason I made this post was cause I wasn't sure what was best for panels and well I'm in the Air force so I moved and managed to leave that welder behind and want to get a nicer one
