Where can I get a diagram for a 1980 Ford F100 302 carburetor? I have a 2 barrel electric chock carburetor and am looking for a diagram that shows me what the hell all these vacuum lines are for. I am converting to a 4 barrel edelbrock and want to make sure i reconnect all the vacuum lines properly. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
all your vacuum line routing is on the fan shroud.your edelbrock carb will not have enough vacuume ports to hook every thing back up.i have done this on my 86,all i used was the ported vac to the dist and hooked up the big vac line to brake booster.all others were deleted and capped.
I had noticed that I did not have enough ports. I have the pcv, the fuel line, the timed vacuum port. I didn't know i could just cap the rest though. Will it run okay?
mine ran better after i capped the useless lines.25 year old plastic and rubber vac lines you will have some leaking,by only running the vac advance.and booster and pcv it runned alot better.

So I can just remove all the other lines? I mean the old carburetor has all these "tees" and splits on the right hand side. I will connect my brakes, the pvc, and timed distributor, but can i just remove all that other 'stuff'? I will take a picture of it tonight and post it, to show what I am talking about.
If you have an auto trans, make sure you don't cap off the hose for its modulator valve, if it has one and the hose was connected to the carb. I have mine ran to the vac tree on the back of my 302's intake manifold.
