Yeah I know I saw a sign for Sommerset on the way to the lake like 50 miles away. I was like hey 2 stroke man lives in these parts to the guy in my truck. he looked at me and was like "who"?

We rented a house boat from Grider Hill and I launched my boat there as well. Then we went to the "party cove". Wow, never seen anything like that before. Lots, and lots of head lights if you know what i mean

Were thinking about going down again next year. I love your corner of the south. I wish Indiana had those kind of hills. I had a lot of fun just pulling the boat up and down those hills! She ran like a champ.

i get to play on those hills all the time. after a while they become a pain in the butt lol. Grider hill ain't far from me. we own land down that way that borders the lake. its just out in the sticks and we aint seen it in at least 14-15 years lol but there is 30 acres of it right along the lake, just across from alligator dock.

i thought you might have went to Lee's Ford or Burnside. those are really in my area. I go to my buddies house boat at lees ford all the time, bout 10 min away and practically live at burnside since i have that contract for all the mowing, landscaping, right of ways and signs for the city.

I stood watch on base all day, and I got a call from the senior watch officer about 8 hours into it saying that I didn't need to be there! Awesome.

I've been to Burnside a couple times for work. Once was at a place a couple years ago that has a huge lumber yard. Don't remember the name though. Also, they have a bridge on the main drag that looks as though it is not painted, do you know what bridge I'm talking about? If so, why didn't they paint it I wonder.

This was the fist time going to cumberland and grider hill had the cheapest house boats. Next year were talking about going to another marina closer to the party spots. I'm not aware of Lee's Ford or Burnside. I'll have to find them on a map.
