Hey guys I have a '66 with a bad Alternator, and I discovered an issue. There is only one bolt holding the Alternator on. I am used to there being a pivot bolt and a adjustment bolt. But I can't even see where the slide bar could be mounted. The lower hose on the water pump comes out there. If anyone has a picture of theres I would appreciate it. I will post pictures as soon as I can.
I don't know how to place pictures in line with the text, but mine has a place for a long bolt to go through the pivot point, and the other place you would think would have the hold down bolt is at the front and in direct line with a radiator hose. I have no way to put a bolt near the back. Does the 66 use an alternator that is different than the ones from the 70's?
