need help asap. please

i am nearing the end of the engine drop in y 96 it has a 4.9 in it i can not find the plug that goes in the alternator can any body provide me with description or pictures of were this wire is on the wiring harness?

there should be two plugs one long rectangle one and a shorter D shaped one

is this the motor out of the black truck?

this is the motor out of the black truck but wiring and alt from my 96 i cant seem to find the plug any were.

the plugs should look the same and use the same alternator i beleive...

mine was slightly different only one plug and then a wire that goes to the batt. is there any way u can tract the wires on the plugs and let me know were they go?

Alternator wiring comes over from the passenger side inner fender area, you probably tucked it back under something and just don't see it yet.

good possibility i pulled this thing apart nearly 2 years ago glad to finaly start getting it back together. also another questioon when i turn the ignition all im hearing is a clunk. im thinking starter. any other ideas? and if it is a start will one from a 91 work it looks a lot bigger.

the battery could be dead causing the starter to not have the power to turn the engine over

the black truck had a bad voltage leak but the battery is brand new so try the one from the black truck

3G harness.
Same for 95 & 130A

A small green wire at one end of a three pin grey plug.
...The other wires in the plug...
White & black from the center, ->to a single grey connector
Yellow at other end -> to a ring terminal.
The output/charge cable is separate, and stand alone.

i actualy foud the wire it was behind the seat for some odd reason. i am using the batt from the black truck shows good charge every thing turns on but no turn just a clunk sound.

ok nother question pulled the starter and took a look at it it has the little spade fitting for a trigger wire but there is not one on the truck were can i connect this wire in at?

ok salved starter issue truck tries to crank. good spark fuel pressure. but no start. sound like bad timng to you guys?
