Hey All I have been posting on FTE since early 2009 but this is the firsrt for the AZ chapter,I sent in my request to join. I have a 75 F-100 that I bought in Flagstaff and will be bringing to Phoenix. My question is what do I need to have to pass emissions? The truck is a 4x4 with a 360 auto trans and 4 barrel Edelbrock No CATs just dual glass packs And nothing under the hood I just dont know what may have been removed. If it helps the VIN# F11YRV25040
it will probably cost more to bring it up to emission standards than the truck is worth! by the law it has to meet the design and manufacture specs. you might be able to get away with a cat and pump if you get the right person at the test center.
I have always had a permanant address in Yavapai county and ther are no emissions here, even the few years I lived in the valley my permanant address was up here. I can get away with it as I own property here.
Thanks guys I might be able to get away with my mothers address, she lives in Payson, and I dont think the tags are due until Jan 2011 so that gives me a year to do what ever I need to do. Is there a way to find out what was originally on the truck?
Now that you bring it up YAAA I THINK YOUR RIGHT I do live in Payson.
In my Moms basement playing with my GI JOES.
I am allso going to look into collecter insurance since I wont be driving the truck every day and I hear that will exempt me from emissions if I drive under a certain amount of miles every year.
