Well the truck hasn't run on all cylinders in 7 days. Replaced the VC gaskets and under VC harnesses and no help. Seems the injectors are all getting a power signal but the driver side is not getting a signal to fire them. Anybody shed some light on this for me,any test to do? I don't know what else to try but the IDM. I also unpluged the harness to the injector plug ins outside the covers and ran a ohm meter and no bad wires were found.

Were the connectors at the VC's burned? If so, I highly recomend removing the wire loom above the ones that were burned at least 10 inches to a foot. Most likely you'll see more wire burned. If so, just splice in a new wire, soldier, and heat shrink. The re-wrap the ground wire and foil (you'll see what I mean) and recover it, and you should be good to go. I wouldn't think it's an IDM, but check the cheap first. 90% of the time you have a burnt connector, it's burnt up the line a few inches too. Hope that helps.

REplaced those ends also, none were burnt. the truck fired fine last sunday and ran for a minute then this. I can plug it in for a couple hour's and it will fire up on the other four but the driver side has no signal to fire them. I'm lost.

I have heard before that if 1/2 the motor shuts down it's the IDM.
Only way to really tell is to try your IDM in another truck, or try someone else's IDM in yours.
Or pony up the $250 and get a reman one from the place in FL on eBay w/lifetime guarantee...

I think i'm ordering one today. The trucks had a few intermittent shut down's in the past, this might solve that issue also. One good thing is i've went through everything under the hood and all is good.
