a/c expansion device?
i just bought an a/c kit from discountacparts.com including a new compressor, condenser, oil, o rings, and expansion device. This is for my 94 f150 4.9. my question is where is the expansion device, and how do i replace it?

I have never heard anyone reference to the orifice tube as an "expansion device". Anyway it is located in the evaporator inlet tube that leads from the bottom of the evaporator. This line is next to the accumulator, the black/aluminum cylinder on the passenger side of the engine compartment. Be careful when removing it, sometimes there is a build up on it that makes it difficult to remove. They are made from plastic, they break easily. I used a small pair of needle nose pliers to remove mine.
