What are some good security systems or home brew installs to disable our trucks to prevent the some dirty rats out there form fullfilling there lifes ambition of being a carear criminals
I use a hidden kill switch under my dash - flip it to start then flip it back once you've started and it is armed again so you don't have to remember when you shut your truck down. You can also use your DP tuner to do the same thing - I prefer the kill switch, you get so used to it and helps keep your truck in the same place where you parked it.
I just had the Ravelco system installed in my 2001 F250 CC 4X4 yesterday morning at 1000. It took the guy three and half hours to install it but did a very professional job. Very very hard to find any of the connections. He really buried the wires deep inside the OEM wiring harness.
Needless to say. At 3:30 the same day some schmuck tried to steal my ride. Thanks to Ravelco I still have my truck. I highly recommend this system. I have already had one truck stolen from me and it is not fun. Take it for what it is worth but it worked for me.
"dirty dogs" "schmuck" seems to nice to describe someone like that. But, I know, this is a friendly forum. So, I can't tell you what I would call them...
Although, I do have a clear shot from my bedroom window to my truck. It'd be nice to call them permanently incapacitated

I had a few choice words but was trying to keep it clean for the forum.
