Does anyone know what style of mirrors are suppose to be on the 1962 f100 pickup. I've seen a few different ones out there, but not sure what the originals look like. Please send me a url address so I can see what they are suppose to look like. That's the door mirrors.

ALL the outside mirrors were optional. None were available as standard equipment until 1967, and none came on the trucks from the factory.
The dealers installed all the outside mirrors, and there were at least EIGHT different types.
There are five different types that fit into the slots in the door, the most common is pictured in post #2.

Problems with speedometer and whre can I find a spare wheel.
Speedometer not working. Took apart the cable from transmission hooked a drill to it, and the speedometer works fine. The plastic gear at the end of the cable looks fine and not even worn. What does the original look like? Do I have to drop the transmission to see if the gear inside is worn?
Also looking for a spare wheel, any idea where to find one? Anyone out there ahve one to sell? Please let me know.
