In an era of less Warn has come through for me big. I posted a while back about in a thread started by tecman refering to a similar rattling noise he had in his front end. We both seemed to have eliminated many sources for the rattle but could not nail down the clank.
I pulled my lockers and found the star washers on my Warn hubs was loose and causing the commotion. Did some searching and others have had similar issues and placed some small plastic or rubber vac line on the ends of the star to quiet the contact between the metal parts. Worked great but I found a broken cast gear on the drivers hub that was another problem from when I engaged one day and heard a loud bang. I e-mailed Warn customer service with a pic of the busted part and Todd told me to send in my 5 year old lockers for a free replacement.(lifetime warrentee for premium lockers) I was ripping my hair out trying to find my receipt but could not. I am stunned at that kind of service and will be loyal to this company for doing this. Thanks for the help on this issue FTE folks also. Dan
